Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Riyadh Int'l Book Fair Kicks off on Wednesday

Riyadh, March 10, 2019, SPA -- Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Riyadh International Book Fair will be open next Wednesday under the theme "The Book is the Gate for Future" in which more than 913 book publishers and institutions from 30 Arab and foreign countries will participate with the Kingdom of Bahrain as guest of honor.
This was disclosed at a press conference in Riyadh today by Abdullah Al-Kinani, Supervisor of the Undersecretariat for Cultural Affairs of the Ministry of Media, who is the manager of the book fair.
Al-Kinani said the exhibition will open its pavilions under the names of the Kingdom vision 2030 projects in their new versions using shuttle trips and electronic guides, a technology that enables a visitor to reach his goals easily and quickly.
The event will be open for the public the next day as Wednesday is allotted for the official opening ceremony, Al-Kinani explained.
Bahrain, the guest of honor, will display as many as 13 events, he said.
A number of Arab literal and social stars will be honored, topped by late Dr. Ghazi Al-Gosaibi, he added.
