The Masked Singer Season 13 just started its Group C contestants this week. Five singers were involved, and only Cherry Blossom was eliminated when Candace Cameron Bure was unmasked at the end of the episode. That leaves Nessy, Mad Scientist Monster, Studd Muffin, and Yorkie. One that turned people’s heads was Nessy, and people are now wondering who is under that mask.

Here is what we know about Nessy and who we think is this competitor on The Masked Singer.

Nessy’s Performance & Clues On The Masked Singer

Nessy came out for his performance on The Masked Singer and wowed the judges. He sang “Roxanne” by The Police and ended up safe from elimination. This was part of the night for Nessy, as he also had her clues package so fans at home (and the panelists) could try to guess his identity.

In the package, Nessy said he is a “gentle giant ” and has been called a “legend.” There were visual clues, including a card with a kiss print and a newspaper front page with an image of a plane. He said he kept his star status on the “download” and held up a radio. There was also a lucky horseshoe, and he said he took time off to be with his family.

Nessy also said he was a “private guy.”

After the performance and clues, some fans of the show chimed in with their guesses:

  • “My first impression was Paul Stanley, but Daryl Hall also is a good guess.”
  • “From the guess the clues, I hardly guessed the Nessy will be either Daryl Hall or Rick Springfield.”
  • “When I saw the Kiss Lips and Radio Star because I saw that Hall & Oates had 8 number one songs on the Billboard Hot 100 like Private Eyes and Kiss on My List I think it’s Daryl Hall.”

Who Is Nessy On The Masked Singer?

We agree with some of the guesses and feel that Nessy on The Masked Singer is Daryl Hall from the legendary band Hall & Oates.

Hall & Oates was one of the most successful bands in the 1980s. Daryl Hall and John Oates joined forces in 1970 and performed together until last year. In 2014, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and they rank 18th in a list of the Top 100 artists of all time.

Looking at the clues, “private guy” could reference the hit Hall & Oates song “Private Eyes.” The kiss could be for the song “Kiss on My List.” As for “gentle giant,” Hall is 6’1.” Hall also took a few years off from Hall & Oates for his family.
