AGE: 32
OCCUPATION: Nurse Clinical Coordinator for outpatient urology at Yale New Haven Health – Westerly Hospital.
RESIDENCE: Richmond.
BORN, RAISED & GREW UP IN: Coventry.
RIGHT NOW I’M IN THE MIDDLE OF: Raising my two children, Harlow Taylor (age 1) and Hudson Benjamin (age 3).
MY PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT: Becoming a clinical coordinator of the ICU at Westerly Hospital in March of 2020. Learning how to become part of the leadership team during a pandemic was hands down one of the most challenging and rewarding highlights of my career. Having the honor to care for sick and scared patients and staff as we navigated through the pandemic together was an experience that taught me patience, trust, humanity, and the power of community.
TOP ON MY BUCKET LIST: Visit Australia.
I ALWAYS CARRY: Emergency medical supplies (band-aids, iodine, saline, antibiotic ointment).
WHAT I WANTED TO BE WHEN I GREW UP: A nurse.
MY HEROES ARE: My husband, Tyler Hittner. Tyler was misdiagnosed as an infant after he contracted viral meningitis, which left him physically disabled. Tyler uses a walker and wears leg braces. Growing up disabled gave Tyler a unique perspective and gratitude for life, as well as a phenomenal sense of humor. Being disabled never stopped my husband from accomplishing anything. He is the strongest person I know.
FAVORITE AUTHORS: J.K. Rowling, William Shakespeare, C.S. Lewis, Maya Angelou.
BOOKS ON MY NIGHT STAND: "Raising Good Humans" by Hunter Clarke-Fields.
SONGS I’VE BEEN LISTENING TO MOSTLY THESE DAYS: "Lavender Haze" by Taylor Swift, "Beautiful Things" by Benson Boone, "I Had Some Help" by Post Malone, "Monday, Monday" by the Mamas and the Papas.
MUSICIANS/RECORDING ARTISTS I FOLLOW: Taylor Swift and Post Malone.
FAVORITE THREE MOVIES OF ALL TIME: "Forest Gump," "Fried Green Tomatoes," "Meet Joe Black."
LAST TV SHOW I BINGED: "Vice Principles."

TRAITS I MOST ADMIRE: Directness.
PET PEEVES: Wearing shoes in the house, leaving the toilet seat up.
FAVORITE QUOTATION: “Carpe diem.”
MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT OUR LITTLE CORNER OF THE WORLD: Watch Hill.
CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT: My children.
LITTLE KNOWN FACT ABOUT ME: I rowed for my high school’s crew team, and I am very fast in a kayak.
BEST ADVICE I EVER RECEIVED: “Consider the source.”
ADVICE I BEST LIKE TO GIVE: “Shake it off.”
IF I RULED THE WORLD I WOULD: Declare health care a basic human right and everyone would have access to great, affordable health care.
IF I WON THE LOTTERY, THE FIRST THING I WOULD DO IS: Install a new handicap-accessible shower for my husband, Tyler.
I DRIVE A: Blue 2017 Honda CRV.
I WISH I DROVE A: 2025 Honda Pilot.
ALWAYS IN MY FRIDGE: Milk.
THE GUESTS AT THE DINNER PARTY OF MY DREAMS WOULD INCLUDE: John Lennon, Marie Curie, Florence Nightingale, Martha Stewart, Taylor Swift, Post Malone.
