Superior: A fundraiser for Team Kadlec is 6-9 p.m. at the Superior Curling Club, 4700 Tower Ave. Includes appetizers, cash bar, raffle and 7 p.m. presentation. Help the curling team with travel costs to compete in the Junior U21 National Championships.

Superior: The University of Wisconsin-Superior hosts a free Yellowjacket Family Fun Day from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the Lydia Thering Fieldhouse at the Marcovich Wellness Center. UWS hockey players will lead games, races and crafts for children. Attendees receive an autograph card and a free youth ticket to a future Yellowjacket home game.

Superior: A breakfast fundraiser for Mentor North is 8-10 a.m. at Applebee’s Grill and Bar, 3535 Tower Ave. Superior Middle School eighth graders will serve the pancakes, eggs, sausage and drink prepared by the restaurant. Cost is $10 and $4 of that goes to Mentor North. The event also includes a raffle and learn about the youth mentoring organization.
