EG America, a Westborough, Massachusetts-based convenience-store chain, is offering a new slate of $4, $5 and $6 meal deals in addition to its $3 meal deal that launched in January.

  • EG America is No. 5 on CSP's 2024 Top 202 ranking of convenience-store chains by store count.

“Earlier this year, our $3 Meal Deal was a huge success. Now, we’re excited to continue offering more delicious, high-quality meals at incredible prices,” said Mendy Meriwether, vice president of food, dispensed beverage and quick-service restaurant (QSR). “We know how important it is to offer both variety and value to our guests, and these Meal Deals hit the mark by offering something for everyone at prices that can’t be beat.”

The $3 breakfast deal includes sausage, egg and cheese on a croissant and a cup of Farmhouse Blend coffee. Customers can add a hashbrown for $1. This deal is available at Cumberland Farms North and Fastrac stores.

For the $4 breakfast deal, customers can choose any breakfast sandwich with any size hot or iced coffee, plus a hashbrown for an additional $1. This meal deal is available at Cumberland Farms Florida, Certified Oil, Kwik Shop, Loaf N’ Jug, Minit Mart, Quik Stop, Sprint, Turkey Hill Midwest, Turkey Hill Pennsylvania and Tom Thumb stores.

At all EG banner stores, the $5 breakfast combo includes any breakfast sandwich with a Celsius Essentials (16-ounce), Tropicana (11-ounce) or Naked Juice (15.2-ounce).

The $6 meal deal is also available at all EG banner stores and includes any two hot breakfast sandwiches or chicken sandwiches. At Cumberland Farms North, Cumberland Farms Florida and Fastrac locations, customers can also choose a classic cheeseburger.

To combat the rise in meal deals at QSRs, c-stores including EG America in 2024 began to answer that foodservice challenge by launching their own deals.

Cumberland Farms had a limited-time $5 Meal deal in the summer that included any two roller grill or pizza items, a drink and a side of chips. Also in the summer, the c-store chain offered two doughnuts and a large hot or iced coffee for $4. This was followed by a deal in the fall.

Founded in 2001 by the Issa family, Blackburn, United Kingdom-based EG Group is a gasoline forecourt and retail convenience operator with more than 6,200 sites across the United Kingdom and Ireland, Europe, the United States and Australia. In 2018, EG Group established itself in the United States as EG America by acquiring Kroger’s 762-site c-store network, which included the Turkey Hill, Loaf 'N Jug, Kwik Shop, Tom Thumb and Quik Stop banners. It acquired TravelCenters of America’s Minit Mart convenience-store business in 2018. The portfolio included 225 c-stores. And in 2019, among other acquisitions, EG Group acquired Cumberland Farms and its nearly 660 c-stores in the Northeast and Florida.
