Book Madness Bracket Sheets are available at the front counter of the Commerce Public Library for patrons to complete. These are due back no later than March 29.
In other Commerce library news:
- Bookvine will meet Friday, March 21, at 1p.m. This month’s book is, The Last He told Me, by Laura Dave. Those who have not had time to read the book are still welcome to attend, light refreshments and coffee are always served.
- Looking ahead, the library will have Spring Break activities during the week of April 7-11. More details to come next week.
- New adult fiction now available include: James Patterson’s Paranoia, Linda Holmes’ Back After This, Karen Thompson Walker’s The Strange Case of Jane O, M.C. Beaton’s Death of a Smuggler, Gillian McAlester’s Famous Last Words, and C.J. Box’s Battle Mountain.
- New nonfiction include: The Way of Play, Menopause Is Hot, Somewhere Toward Freedom by Bennett Parten, Food to Die For, Pass The Plate, and The Herbal Year. Long Live by Nicole Pomarico is also new and is said to be the definitive guide to the folklore and fandom of Taylor Swift, while Parten’s Somewhere Toward Freedom is the story of Sherman’s March and America’s largest emancipation.
