Hart’s mother, Nancy Hart, filed to legally emancipate his older brother, Robert Hart, from their family when they were younger after he tried to rob an elderly woman’s purse, according to his 2019 Netflix documentary, Don’t F**K This Up. He was also involved in drugs and gangs, which Kevin steered clear of. “My mom gave my brother a fair amount of freedom. Sisqo worked at a candy store named The Fudgery with his Dru Hill band mates, Jazz, Woody, and Nokio, before the group signed with Island Records in 1996.

Flannery played Meredith Palmer on NBC’s The Office for nine seasons from 2005 to 2013. In The Office, lead character Michael Scott is also often seen holding a mug reading “World’s Best Boss.”

Flannery revealed in an interview with Philly magazine in 2023 that she was a waitress at an upscale restaurant named Carnegie Hall in Beverly Hills, where she waited on celebrities like Whitney Houston and Steve Martin. “Over the years, I lived in Los Angeles and New York and waited tables in Beverly Hills and at this place across from Carnegie Hall. I waited on so many famous people, like Whitney Houston, Robert De Niro, Steve Martin. So I just kept on waiting tables and pursuing my dream. I actually kept my one restaurant job through the first season of The Office, because we had no idea what the future would be,” she said.

Flannery also confirmed the story in a interview with KTLA in 2023. She quit the job in Season 2 once The Office became a success. “Once we“Once we started Season 2, and then when Steve Carell’s 40 Year Old Virgin was about to come out, just as we were about to start Season 2. I was like ‘This is huge. He is huge!’” she said.
