Lauren Goodger has taken what appears to be a thinly-veiled dig at her ex boyfriend Mark Wright.

The reality TV star, 34 shared a series of messages fans have sent her about how the relationship ended so publicly, and how she had to get over Mark, 33, in the public eye on the eve of TOWIE's tenth anniversary show.

One fan spoke about her "first love" and how "heartbreaking" the breakup must have been for her, while another said they "truly hope" she finds happiness.

It comes after Lauren revealed she is dating Katie Price's former toyboy boyfriend Charles Drury.

Lauren and Mark got together when they were just 15-years-old and they became engaged in the first series of TOWIE.

But the romance came to an end just months later.

In 2015 Mark married Michelle Keegan and has in the past asked Lauren to stop talking about their relationship.

She didn't add any comment on the messages (

Despite moving on with Charles, it appears the romance is still a soft spot for Lauren as she shared messages she'd received about it on Instagram last night.

One message said: "I'm well late to the party but I've just read your book, I know it's years old but it's proper changed my perception of you.

"I always hated that [censored word] and I know it's so old news but you really went through it and knowing how our first loves are heartbreaking as it is it must have been well hard having yours up for public debate."

Another said: "You are a beautiful lovely girl and deserve such happiness and I truly hope you find it."

A third said: "I know it's a bit weird messaging strangers but after watching season one I just wanted to say that even at 22 you carried yourself really well despite the abuse you received ... I hope you've healed and I wish you the best of happiness."

Mirror Online has contacted reps for Mark for comment.

Lauren's rep declined to comment.
