For the second time this season, Michigan will begin a game week as a double-digit underdog.

The surging Wolverines opened as 10-point underdogs for their game next Saturday, Nov. 18, at Wisconsin (noon, FOX), according to VegasInsider.com.

VegasInsider published the opening line Sunday evening, but since then Las Vegas sports books have started to revise the line in favor of Michigan.

As of this writing, Wynn Las Vegas lists unbeaten Wisconsin (10-0) as an 8 1/2-point favorite over Michigan. Station Casinos lists Wisconsin -7 1/2.

Michigan (8-2, 5-2 Big Ten) is coming off a 35-10 win over Maryland on Saturday, keeping it alive in the crowded Big Ten East division race.

It was also the Wolverines' third straight win following a blowout loss at Penn State on Oct. 21, the last time they opened a game week as double-digit underdogs. The Nittany Lions closed as 7 1/2-point favorites.

This season, Michigan is 4-5-1 against the spread and 3-1 in true road games. They have not beaten a team with a winning record.

Wisconsin, meanwhile, is in the driver's seat for the Big Ten title game. It clinched the Big Ten West with a 38-14 win over Iowa and enters the week ranked No. 4 in the Amway Coaches Poll and No. 5 in the AP Top 25.

Against the spread, the Badgers are 6-4 this season, but covered the last two weeks.
